Abstract: 

Purpose: In this study, a method was presented based on data mining and Kano model to predict the type of online book stores customers' needs. Methodology: First three groups of needs and factors affecting customer satisfaction of AdineBook online store were extracted, according to expert opinions and Kano questionnaire was designed based on these factors. After data preprocessing, type of customer needs were determined based on the Kano model. So customers were clustered according to type of needs and demographic characteristics. Clustering was done using K-means algorithm and the number of initial clusters were determined by self-organizing neural network. Then the frequency of customer needs in each cluster were prioritize and the clusters were classified accordingly. In the next step, decision tree technique was used to predict future customer needs. According to the result of decision tree, among the demographic variables as education, age, gender and marital status have the greatest impact on determining the type of customer needs. Originality/value: Considering the accuracy of decision tree that is too good, the results show that the proposed method has good efficiency to predict the needs of new customers.

Abstract: 

The quality of a product or service is key for customer satisfaction. The level of satisfaction is ultimately dependent on the fulfillment of customer needs. Quality Function Deployment (QFD) has been an important tool in the translation of the voice of the customer (VOC) into product's specification. Since the impact on customer satisfaction is different for each customer requirement, it is very important to determine which attributes of a product or service bring more satisfaction than others. The Kano Model of customer satisfaction can determine attractive, must be requirements and performance needs, and can be used in the QFD matrix to assure that the most critical needs are translated into the next phases of product development. But, integrating these two models, causes that analysis, classification and priority of customer needs to improve.In this article, we are going to provide an integrating model kano in qfd to analysis and rank customer needs. Finally, we show a case study to be sure about the accuracy of the proposed model.

Abstract: 

QFD is a mechanism for translating the voice of customer into product through various stages of product planning, engineering and manufacturing that widely implemented in modern enterprises throughout the world. In parallel with welcoming to QFD, a lot of academic efforts have gone into improving and completing this method. Now traditional methods for determining relative importance of factors in QFD have been substituted by new methods with robust mathematic foundation such as AHP and ANP. In addition, many efforts have been put into presenting systematic methods in order to determine target values of technical attributes. This paper presents a new model based on goal programming as a known MODM approach considering contradictory affects of technical attributes on customer needs that previously have not been considered.

Abstract: 

Objective: To survive in the highly competitive business environment, companies should prioritize improving service quality. In this regard, product and service design should be in a way that meets the needs and demands of customers in the best possible way. The purpose of this paper is to choose the best design for developing and creating a mobile phone application using a combined approach of Kano-QFD and Fuzzy EDAS.Method: The methodology of the current research is in the paradigm of positivism with applied orientation and quantitative method. The method of collecting field data, the strategy of survey research and the purpose of descriptive research. To choose the best product design for the mobile phone application, the most important customers ‘needs have been identified and categorized using the Kano model. In the next step, the AHP method was applied to prioritize customers' needs. Then, by using the QFD method, customer requirements have been converted into technical specifications and functional requirements of the product, and the prioritization of the technical requirements of the product has been done. Based on the technical requirements of the product, the product engineers have proposed three designs for the mobile application, and finally the best design was selected using the Fuzzy EDAS.Results: The results show that the design of the mobile application should be such that the main page of the application has no categories and should be considered with the use of hashtag search, but for the convenience of the user, certain goods and services should be considered in a separate section of the category. method.Conclusions: The market research team has identified 19 needs as the main customers ‘needs, and these needs are classified into three functional, basic and motivational categories based on Kano's model. The prioritization of customer needs shows that security, low cost, reliable payment gateway, and the presence of regular categories are the most important customer needs, and product engineers should keep these things in mind when designing and developing the product.

Abstract: 

The main aim of this study is to reduce costs and improve the efficiency of the Tehran subway project. The approach to this research is a system engineering with life cycle methodology. Needs analysis is the first phase of the life cycle and the next phases are Design, production, operation, support, and retirement. Needs analysis, which is the first and most important phase of the life cycle, has been performed in this research. For this purpose, a questionnaire including 42 questions was distributed and collected from 220 customers of Tehran Subway. 10 factors that have more than 70% of the variance of customer needs were discovered through exploratory factor analysis and named subway quality indicators. In addition, 39 customer needs with specific values greater than one and operating loads greater than 0.5 were identified and selected as customer needs. Then, using the network analysis process method and the MATLAB software, the importance of each of the subway quality indicators and the importance of customer needs indicators was achieved. And finally graded. Based on the findings of this study, in the implementation of the design phase of the Tehran subway life cycle, all 10 indicators of subway quality should be considered, but the availability of vehicles and station facilities need more attention. Also, all 39 subway customers need indicators that should be considered in the design, but the top 10 requirements indicators are much more important than the other 29 indicators.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this study was a survey on the sports and physical education publishing on the basis of customer needs in Tehran Book Exhibition (2011). The methodology was descriptive and a survey with filed study for data gathering. The population were sports and physical education customers in Iran and the sample 384 inches customers in Tehran Book Exhibition at 1390 by random selection. The instrument was researcher-made questionnaire whose credit and reliability has been approved (%85).The results showed that there were no difference between opinions of physical educators and non physical educators customers about: qualities, design and price of sports books. But they had difference about brand popularity of publishers and scientific position of writers (p<0.05).Customers believed that the characteristics of existence book wasn't desirable and publishers must give more attention to the quality of their books. They have demanded experts to write the books and the books should be published by high grade publishers. They wanted the proper price for book on the basis of content of the book and their potential. Also, the sport publishers must have better advertisements and information about their products. Thus, Ministry of Islamic guidance and culture or universities (Departments of physical education) will play some workshops about sport marketing and sport communication for sport publishers. This will direct them to publish on the basis of customer needs.
